OMG

Officine Meccaniche Galileo designs and manufactures high quality engineering products. Actively present in Italy and abroad, the company's facilities cover a whole range of activities including total management of projects, electrical and mechanical design, costs planning and control, turn-key solutions, maintenance service, revamping and refurbishment, technical consultancy, feasibility studies and the supply of spare parts. In the beginning of the 80's, OMG was one of the first companies to realize that the ports market on a world wide scale, was heading for an increase in container traffic. OMG port systems include: container cranes, harbour cranes, bridge cranes, ship to shore cranes, polar cranes and stacking cranes. One of the main fields in which OMG excels, is the construction of ship to shore cranes.
