Ship to shore

STS cranes are the interface between seabound and landbound transport. The production range comprises tailor made solutions according to individual customer's requirements. The size of the crane has to follow the size of the vessel: the first container vessels 40 years ago carried 1.000 TEU in 10 rows. Cost pressures lead the development of larger ships to today 9000TEU in more than 18 rows. This tendency hasn’t stopped yet, therefore, manufacturers compete to deliver faster cranes with highest moves per hours ratios that result in high productivity with lower operational costs.
